Beth Paz is a pastor, preacher, and leader with 20 years of full-time ministry experience across urban missions, church leadership, and global discipleship. She is dedicated to equipping individuals and communities to live bold, authentic faith and to tangibly seek the Kingdom of God in everyday life.
Beth spent over a decade in incarnational ministry with InterVarsity in Fresno, and most recently served as the Associate Pastor of Missional Outreach at Lake Avenue Church in Pasadena, CA. She is the co-founder of PreacHER Academy, a global movement activating women to preach with confidence, lead with boldness, and step fully into their God-given calling.
Ordained in 2023, Beth holds a Master of Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary, where she was honored with the Hooper-Keefe Preaching Award and Parish Pulpit Fellowship. A global minister and North American delegate to multiple Lausanne gatherings, her ministry and sense of adventure has taken her to over 35 countries, including extended time living in Lithuania, Guatemala, and Albania.
After losing her home in the 2025 Eaton Fire, Beth embraced a Spirit-led season of minimal and missional living—traveling the world with an open heart, listening to the global Church, and serving wherever God opens doors. Her ministry, Of Word and Fire, encompasses preaching with conviction, mentoring emerging leaders, and engaging the global, multi-generational Church. Beth’s prophetic and practical faith is fueled by this passion: “His word is in my heart like fire… I am weary of holding it in; indeed, I cannot” (Jeremiah 20:9).
Beth Paz is passionate about being the Beloved of God and joining God’s work of justice and righteousness
